Kenyir Lake

SCROLL DOWN

"Fill your life with adventures, not things.
Have stories to tell, not stuff to show."

Tasik Kenyir is the largest
man made lake in
South East Asia.

There are about 340 islands which were once hilltops and highlands, 14 waterfalls with numerous rapids and rivers.

This lake spans an area of 260,000 hectares that spreads well to form the greater inner reaches of Terengganu. Numerous species of fresh water fishes and exotic wild life, its rich flora and fauna together with its vast boundary leads to endless discoveries and adventures.

A day trip to the Kenyir lakes is strongly recommended. A tour to the largest saddle, earth dam in South East Asia can also be easily arranged. Savour the sight of valleys with its rich rain forest sandwiching the massive structures of the dam. Hence, creating a magnificent and gasping view from the top.

The gateway to this “remote” exploration begin at the Sg. Gawi Jetty, which is just about 1 hr away from us. From here, there are boats for hire for short tours to waterfalls, island, jungle trekking, fish breeding farms, floating resorts and restaurants and much more.

However, if you want another option is Kenyir Waterpark. Great for family or even individuals. They have few water rides such as banana boat, mega slice ride and much more.
