Tasik Kenyir is the largest man made lake in South East Asia. There are about 340 islands which were once hilltops and highlands, 14 waterfalls with numerous rapids and rivers. This lake spans an area of 260,000 hectares that spreads well to form the greater inner reaches of Terengganu. Numerous species of fresh water fishes and exotic wild life, its rich flora and fauna together with its vast boundary leads to endless discoveries and adventures.

A day trip to the Kenyir lakes is strongly recommended. A tour to the largest saddle, earth dam in South East Asia can also be easily arranged. Savour the sight of valleys with its rich rain forest sandwiching the massive structures of the dam; hence creating a magnificent and gasping view from the top.

The gateway to this “remote” exploration begin at the Sg. Gawi Jetty, which is just about 1 hr away from us. From here, there are boats for hire for short tours to waterfalls, island, jungle trekking, fish breeding farms, floating resorts and restaurants and much more.
